Gerardo Martino reappointed as head coach of Atlanta United

Atlanta United of the USA has announced on its official website the appointment of 62-year-old Gerardo Martino as head coach.

Idman.Biz reports that the Argentine coach's contract runs until the end of the 2027 MLS season.

Martino previously coached Atlanta from January 2017 to December 2018. Under his leadership, the club won the MLS Cup.

During his career, the Argentine coach also managed Barcelona in 2013-14. Martino's last team before managing Atlanta was Inter Miami.
