Georgi Sudakov, one of the key players of the Ukrainian national team, was injured in the away match against Iceland in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the 23-year-old midfielder was forced to leave the field after a collision with an opponent in the first half.
After the match, Sudakov shared on social media: "I hope to recover soon. I congratulate our team and fans on the victory".
It should be noted that the Ukrainian national team defeated Iceland 5:3 in this match. The team will play its next match against the Azerbaijani national team on October 13 in Krakow, Poland.
