Italian club "Genoa" has refused the transfer of 38-year-old Jamie Vardy.
"Report" reports, citing "La Repubblica", that negotiations with the English striker have failed.
It is reported that although the club's sporting director, Flavio Ricciardella, was in favor of the former international's transfer, head coach Patrick Vieira did not agree with this.
It should be noted that J.Vardy left "Leicester" (England) at the end of the 2024/2025 season. He scored 9 goals and 4 assists in 35 matches he played in the last season.
