Italy national team coach Gennaro Gattuso is confident that his team will qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the 47-year-old specialist made a statement to "Football Italia" about this:
"If Italy doesn't qualify for the 2026 World Cup, I'll leave the country. I already live far enough away, but if we can't do it, I'll move a little further away."
It should be noted that Italy has not participated in the World Cup since 2014. In the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup, the Italians are in second place in Group I with 15 points from 6 matches.
