Gennaro Gattuso's appointment as head coach of the Italian national football team has been made official.
Idman.biz reports that the 47-year-old specialist will be presented on June 19.
As a football player, Gattuso played 73 matches for the Italian national team from 2000-2010, scoring 1 goal and becoming a world champion in 2006.
The Italian, who started his coaching career in 2013, achieved his greatest success by winning the Italian Cup with "Napoli" in 2020. He has also coached teams such as "Milan", "Valencia", "Marseille". Most recently, he was the head coach of Croatian "Hajduk".
