"Our main goal was to score early goals. My players coped with the task. After that, we started playing comfortably." These words were said by Gazanfar Abbasov, the head coach of "Garadag Lokbatan", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The young specialist shared his thoughts on the match in the 18th round of the Second League, in which his team won against "Goygol" with a big score:
"We were in control of the game for 90 minutes. Although the opponent occasionally tried to counterattack, we kept our goal intact thanks to the excellent game of our defenders. The 3-point difference between us and "Khankendi" continues. They can also lose points. Even if they don't lose points, we will have a duel with them ahead. We are not giving up our championship claim. We must not lose points before the match against "Khankendi". We will do everything we can. If no one stops the opponent, we will try to defeat them and become champions."
It should be noted that the "Garadag Lokbatan" - "Goygol" match ended with a 7:0 victory for the home team.
