"The first half of the game against "Aghdash" was dynamic. Both teams had scoring chances." These words were said by Gazanfar Abbasov, the head coach of "Garadag Lokbatan", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced specialist evaluated the match against "Aghdash" in the first qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup yesterday as follows:
"We were able to take advantage of these opportunities and score our goals. After two players of the opponent received red cards in the second half, the match was completely under our control. "Aghdash" has good players who stand out for their fighting spirit. However, the red cards led to such a big score. We have not set such a goal in the Cup. As a club, we are focused on the championship and want to become champions and return to the First League. My team will approach all games with responsibility and fighting spirit. Our goal is clear. We want to become champions, and we will do everything we can to achieve this."
It should be noted that "Garadag Lokbatan" won the match at home with a score of 8:0 and secured a place in the second qualifying round.
