The current head coach of the Italian national team, Gennaro Gattuso, has announced that he took Marcello Lippi as an example in his coaching career.
İdman.Biz reports that the information was published by Pianetamilan.it.
According to him, the former head coach, who made the Italian national team world champion in 2006, is one of the main examples in terms of professional aspects.
Gattuso played in the national team at that time and highly appreciates Lippi.
"I owe him a debt of gratitude and I do not hide that I take him as an example in my coaching career. To gain the trust of the players, you have to be consistent and sincere," said C. Gattuso.
It should be noted that Marcello Lippi was the head coach of the Italian national team from 2004–2010, with a break between 2006–2008.
