Former England striker Gary Lineker has spoken about the national teams he considers favorites for the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the veteran forward said the following:
"Spain is the main favorite. They have excellent players. The same goes for England, but historically we have had a lot of problems at World Cups. We must not forget Argentina and France, where Messi will also be present."
Lineker played 80 matches for the England national team from 1984-1992 and scored 48 goals.
