Gara Garayev played his 350th match in the Azerbaijan championships. According to Sport24.az, the 33-year-old midfielder's anniversary coincided with the XXXIII round of the Misli Premier League.
The "Araz-Nakhchivan" player started in the home game against "Sabah" (1:1).
Garayev, who debuted in the Premier League in the 2008/09 season, scored 6 goals in 350 matches. He played 305 matches (5 goals) for his first club "Qarabağ", 25 matches (1 goal) for "Neftchi", and 20 matches for "Araz-Nakhchivan".
Gara is the 13th player in the history of the Azerbaijan championships to play 350 or more matches. He is 101 games behind Rahid Amirguliyev's record.
