Istanbul's "Galatasaray" has completed the transfer of Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen from Italy's "Napoli".
According to "Report", the Turkish club's press service reported this.
A 4-year contract has been signed with the football player.
"Galatasaray" paid 75 million euros for Osimhen, which is a new record for the Turkish championship. The previous record was set in the summer of 2024 when Istanbul's "Fenerbahçe" bought Moroccan national team striker Youssef En-Nesyri from Spain's "Sevilla" for 19.5 million euros.
Osimhen is 26 years old, he spent last season on loan at "Galatasaray". The forward played 41 games in various tournaments for the club, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists. With 26 goals, the footballer became the top scorer of the Turkish championship.
It was reported last month that "Galatasaray" had reached an agreement with Osimhen. The Nigerian striker will earn 18 million euros per season. According to a clause in the contract, Osimhen cannot be transferred to any Italian club in the next 2 years.
