According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, "Galatasaray" president Dursun Özbek and the board of directors will take action to sign a new contract with star striker Mauro Icardi.
It is reported that the experienced striker, who missed a large part of last season due to injury and is expected to return to the field in a few weeks, is planned to have his contract, which expires at the end of the season, extended by two years.

It is reported that the same amount will be offered to the star player in the planned new contract, who was transferred from France's PSG team in 2023 for 10 million euros and paid a net salary of 6 million euros excluding sponsorships.
