Turkish club Galatasaray has suffered a serious loss. Sport24.az reports that Istanbul's representative defender Ismail Jakobs is out of action.
The Senegalese footballer was injured in the match against Union Saint-Gilloise in the 5th round of the UEFA Champions League League stage. The 26-year-old left-back will not participate in the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce.
Ismail Jakobs has appeared in 17 official matches for the "yellow-reds" this season.
It should be noted that the Fenerbahce - Galatasaray match will be held on December 1 and will start at 22:00 Baku time.
