Istanbul's "Galatasaray" club crushed "Juventus" in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage.
According to "Report", the match held at the "Rams Park" stadium in Istanbul ended with a score of 5:2.
The home side opened the scoring in the match – Gabriel Sara scored in the 15th minute. A minute later, "Juventus" equalized with a goal from Ten Koopmeiners. In the 32nd minute, the Dutch footballer completed his double. This was the last goal for the visitors.
In the second half, "Galatasaray" players scored four times. Noa Lang scored in the 49th and 75th minutes, Davinson Sanchez in the 60th minute, and Sacha Boey in the 86th minute.
In the 67th minute, "Juventus" player Juan Cabal received a second yellow card and left the field.
The return match will be held on February 26 at 00:00 Baku time at the "Allianz Stadium" in Turin.
