The transfer fee of Uğurcan Çakır, who attracted the attention of European clubs with his performance in the Turkish "Galatasaray" football team and the Turkish national team, has been announced.

The yellow-red management is expecting at least 40 million euros (80 million AZN) in transfer fees for the 29-year-old goalkeeper. His performance in the Champions League and his contribution to the Turkish national team's qualification for the World Cup after 24 years played a major role in increasing the value of the national football player, who was transferred at the beginning of the season for 30.5 million euros (61 million AZN) including bonuses.
However, "Galatasaray" fans disagreed with this amount and expressed their protests on social networks. Fans argue that the selling price should be a minimum of 50 million euros (100 million AZN) due to Uğurcan's performance.
It is not excluded that this figure may increase further in the transfer of the football player, who is currently being closely followed by English Premier League clubs.
