According to the official social media account of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Arsenal's Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhães will miss the national team's friendly matches against France and Croatia.
İdman.Biz reports that the player complained of pain in his right knee after the English League Cup final against Manchester City (0:2) on March 22.
Test results confirmed that Magalhães will not be able to participate in FIFA international matches. A replacement player is not planned.
The match against France will be held on March 26, and the match against Croatia will be held on April 1.
In the 2026 World Cup, Brazil will play in Group C with Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland.
