Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has responded to media reports about his possible departure from the London club this winter.
Idman.Biz reports that earlier reports indicated that the 28-year-old footballer could return to Brazil to increase his chances of participating in the 2026 World Cup.
"I have never contacted other clubs. My dream is to return to Palmeiras, and Palmeiras' dream is to bring me back. When I feel the time has come to return to this club, I will decide together with Arsenal.
But right now we are talking about a player who has been out for nine months and is fighting to return to the team, and journalists are making unfounded assumptions," Sky Sports quoted Jesus as saying.
The striker has been recovering from a torn cruciate ligament since January 2025.
