"Gabala's" winter transfer plans have been fully implemented

Almost all of "Gabala's" plans for the winter transfer period have been implemented.

The sports director of the regional representative, Sabuhi Safiyarli, told "Report" about this.

The club official spoke about the transfers that took place during the winter break:

"We knew we would take five players. Our plan was implemented with three foreigners and two locals. We transferred Seydina Keita and Ismael Akinade to the attack. They joined the team during the training camp. We were thinking of a local goalkeeper to increase competition in the goal and we finally loaned Rza Jafarov. There were Jaime, Shahin Shahniyarov and Farid Iskandarov in the position of supporting midfielder. However, Shahin and Farid did not have enough Premier League experience. It was difficult to find experienced local midfielders. For this reason, our last foreign transfer was Sambu Sissoko from Valenciennes".

S.Safiyarli spoke about the completion of the squad and the selection process for some positions:

"The positions of supporting midfielder and left flank defense remained. Since experienced local players had contracts with their clubs, we had to use our last foreign limit for the support zone. For the left flank, we loaned Turan Manafov. Currently, three of the five transfers are loans, which satisfies us. Our goal is to see them until the end of the season and monitor the adaptation process. Our order form is already full, and we will not take new players because the "transfer window" is closed".

He also touched upon the current situation of the newly joined players:

"Akinade and Keita participate in almost all games. Turan Manafov is also slowly getting in shape. Rza has already played in two games and made a good impression. We think that they will be a good tandem in the goal line together with Salahat. Sissoko is also an experienced player, he has played in France and Ukraine. Due to some problems, he was able to come on a 4-month loan. Everything is fine so far".

It should be noted that "Gabala" is currently in 10th place in the Misli Premier League table with 14 points.
