Sabuhi Safiyarly, the sports director of "Gabala", commented on the temporary restriction of the club's academy.
Idman.biz reports that he made a statement to "Report" about this.
Safiyarly said that selection work in other regions has been limited: "In fact, no team will be canceled. Because the conditions of licensing must be observed and teams consisting of lower age groups must be formed. It's just that we used to bring in football players from outside, but this will no longer happen. Last season, AFFA allocated 700,000 manats. But that was not enough. Of course, it is not AFFA's duty to help. The club management tried to ensure that talented children in Zagatala, Beylagan, Imishli, Gusar and other regions did not disappear, and invited them to the academy. We invited children to the academy from the age of 12-13. Last year, 52 children stayed at the academy. Each of them ate and trained normally. Now there are difficulties with keeping them in the academy."
The club official also spoke about the condition of the pitches affiliated with the academy: "Of course, maintaining the pitches also requires certain finances, so this issue will also be considered. We currently have 6 pitches. We may close a certain part of it. Since the academy's activities are limited, taking care of them also requires additional expenses."
It should be noted that the management of "Gabala" announced that the activities of the club's Football Academy were temporarily restricted.
