The leaders of the Azerbaijan Championship I League, "Gabala", "Karvan" and "Imishli", will play in the Premier League next season.
Idman.biz reports that this was formalized at a meeting of the AFFA Licensing Commission.
Licenses have also been issued to all three clubs that won promotion to the elite by finishing in the top three according to sporting principles.
"Kapaz", "Sabail" and "Shamakhi" have also received licenses to play in the Premier League. But the first two teams must not be the last for this. The 8 clubs that applied for a license for European Cups, namely "Araz-Nakhchivan", "Qarabağ", "Neftçi", "Sabah", "Sumgayit", "Turan Tovuz", "Zira", will also play in the Premier League automatically.
Two more clubs playing in the I League have received a license to play in the Premier League. But "Baku Sporting" and "Difai" will remain in the I League due to not taking high places and the leaders not facing problems.
