Fuzuli Mammadov: "We must strengthen"

- It was a tense game. It is always difficult to play against "Qarabağ". My players showed great determination and dedication today. I thank every football player. We lost. It is difficult to beat "Qarabağ". We stopped fighting in the Cup, and from now on we will focus on the championship. We will go to all matches for the maximum result.

- Why was the scenario from the championship game repeated?

- We had analyzed it. Before and after each game, we analyze both the opponent and ourselves. The reason is clear. Our football players are not fully physically ready. They show great determination in training. It is difficult to play against "Qarabağ". A little fatigue is felt after the 80th minute. Then mistakes arise. "Qarabağ" football players also make small mistakes.

- After your arrival, discipline is felt in the defense. Do the games with "Qarabağ" give you hope?

- It is difficult to play attacking football against "Qarabağ". They force you to defend. My players show determination. They tried to maintain game discipline until the end. We will not defend in every match. We also had an episode. If you have an episode against "Qarabağ", you have to evaluate it. 

- Does the budget allow you to strengthen the squad in winter?

- We must strengthen. We have 3 games ahead. All our attention is on those games. We will try to take advantage of the opportunity.
