"Report" reports that this was said by the head coach of the Yevlakh representative, Fuzuli Mammadov, at a press conference after the match against "Zira" in the XXV round of the Misli Premier League.
The expert commented on the 0:1 defeat:
"Our team showed a good game today. The players prepared for the match seriously and responsibly. There was a combative team fighting on the field until the end. We were not inferior to the opponent in terms of desire, quality, or tactics, on the contrary, we looked superior in some moments. True, there were dangerous episodes in front of our goal. "Zira" is a strong team and we wanted to win this game.
Today I saw a team like a fist on the field. The defeat did not fully reflect the course of the game. I was especially disappointed to concede a goal as a result of the mistake we made in the last minutes. I didn't want my team, which showed such determination, to lose. My players deserved at least one point. But it's football, such things happen. I congratulate "Zira" on the victory, and I thank my players. We made a mistake and paid for it. This game is already behind us for us".
