Although Muniz sent the ball into the net, the goal was not counted because referee Jarred Gillett blew the whistle before.
This decision came at a very high price for Fulham. In the 89th minute of the match, Ioachim Andersen fouled Finn Azaz in the penalty area, and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. In the 91st minute, Ross Stewart accurately converted the shot and led his team to victory.
