Rashad Aslanov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy, was also invited to the meeting.
Welcoming his colleague, Eduardo De Laurentis drew attention to "Qarabag's" successful performance in the Champions League this season. The presidents exchanged views on strengthening friendly relations between the two clubs. The parties expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and wished both teams success in the tournament.
