Spanish representative "Barcelona"'s midfielder Frenkie de Jong was injured during the team's last training session.
"Report", referring to "AS" publication, reports that the initial medical examination revealed a rupture in the 28-year-old Dutch footballer's back thigh muscle.
It is reported that he will be out of the green fields for at least a month.
De Jong participated in 31 games in the 2025/2026 season, including all tournaments in the Catalan team, scored 1 goal and made 7 assists.
Frenkie de Jong's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2029.
