"Barcelona" has reached an agreement with Frenkie de Jong, whose contract with the club expires at the end of the season. Sport24.az reports that the Spanish champion will sign a contract with the Dutch footballer until the summer of 2029.

The official announcement will be made by the end of this week. The club will set the release clause for the 28-year-old midfielder at 500 million euros.
It should be noted that "Barcelona" transferred Frenkie de Jong from "Ajax" in the summer of 2019 for 86 million euros. The member of the Dutch national team has been remembered this season with 1 assist in 8 official matches in the Catalan team.
