Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong will be out of action for five to six weeks due to injury.
Idman.Biz reports that the club's press service announced this on the X social media page.
"First team player Frenkie de Jong suffered a right distal biceps femoris injury during today's training session. Tests confirm that he will be out for five to six weeks," Barcelona said in a statement.
The midfielder has made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing seven assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is 45 million euros.
