One of the most memorable matches of the 16th round of the French Ligue 1 has been held.
Idman.Biz reports that "Lille" faced "Auxerre" away and won a tough victory with a score of 4:3.
Goals for the visiting team were scored by Hakon Haraldsson in the 9th minute, Nabil Bentaleb in the 77th minute, Soriba Diaone in the 80th minute and Benjamen Andre in the 86th minute.
Auxerre's goals were scored by Lassine Sinayoko in the 57th and 83rd minutes (the second goal from a penalty), as well as an own goal by Chancel Mbemba in the 66th minute.
The match was also notable for its tension. The home team and the visitors finished the game with nine players each. Nathan N'Goyi was shown a red card in the 38th minute and Romen Perro in the 88th minute for Lille. In Auxerre, Kleman Akpa was sent off in the 60th minute and Usama El-Azzuzi in the 88th minute.
With this result, Lille, which won its fourth consecutive victory, rose to the third place in the tournament table with 32 points. Auxerre, with 12 points, is in the 16th place.
In the next round, Lille will host Rennes at home, and Auxerre will face Brest away.
