French national team footballer Désiré Doué was injured before the match against Azerbaijan in Baku in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
"Report" informs that the 20-year-old winger, who plays for PSG, was injured in the X round of Ligue 1 match against Lorient (1:1) and left the field on a stretcher.
He will need several weeks to recover.
Désiré Doué was unable to participate in the match against the Azerbaijani team in October, which they won (3:0), due to injury. The football player has scored 4 goals and 3 assists in 15 matches for PSG this season.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan - France match will be held on November 16.
