The group stage match of the WC-2026 qualifying round between France and Ukraine has ended.

French forward Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring with a penalty in the 55th minute. In the 76th minute, French winger Michael Olise doubled the defenders' advantage. Mbappe scored his second goal in the 83rd minute. Hugo Ekitike scored his team's fourth goal in the 88th minute.
With the goals he scored in this game, Kylian Mbappe scored the 400th goal of his career.
France, with 13 points from five games in Group D, which also includes Azerbaijan, secured a place in WC-2026 by taking first place. Ukraine is third with seven points. Iceland, which has the same number of points, is in second place. The Azerbaijan national team has one point.
