Former Serbian national team football player Dejan Milovanović has passed away. Sport24.az reports with reference to L'Équipe that the 41-year-old player suffered a heart attack during a match of veterans of "Srvena Zvezda".
According to the source, Milovanović suffered a "double heart attack". He lost consciousness a few minutes after a goal was scored. The ambulance crew that arrived at the scene tried very hard, but could not bring him back to life.
It should be noted that during his football career, Milovanović played for "Srvena Zvezda" and "Vojdovac", France's "Lens" and Greece's "Panionios". He played two matches for the Serbian national team. Dejan was chosen as the best player of the Serbian championship in 2006.
