Former Scotland international and Manchester City player Andy Morrison has revealed that he is suffering from a rare disease.
İdman.Biz reports that the 55-year-old former defender has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Morrison said he has already started treatment and estimates his chances of recovery at around 70 percent. It should be noted that Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a neurological disease described by British neurologist Ramsay Hunt in the first half of the 20th century.
Morrison played for Manchester City from 1998–2002, after which he ended his career. In recent years, from 2022–2024, he worked as the head coach of the Sri Lanka national team.
