Former goalkeeper of the Kazakhstan national team, Andrey Morev, has passed away at the age of 52. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by the press service of the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
The cause of death of the veteran footballer has not been disclosed.
It should be noted that Morev played for Omsk's "Irtysh", "Lokomotiv Chita", Kazakhstan's "Jenis", "Tobol" and "Aktobe" teams. During his career, he became a two-time champion of Kazakhstan and won the national cup once. After finishing his football career, Morev worked as a goalkeeping coach in the "Irtysh" and "Spartak Anapa" teams.
