A former player of the German football club "Erzgebirge" tragically died during a ski vacation in Montenegro.
Idman.Biz reports, citing foreign media, that the incident occurred at the "Savin Kuk" ski resort in the north of the country.
34-year-old Sebastian Hertner fell from a height of approximately 70 meters after the chairlift he was riding suddenly detached, and died at the scene from his severe injuries.
His wife, who was with him, survived the fall but was seriously injured as she remained trapped in the damaged chair.
The woman was hospitalized with a diagnosis of a broken leg, and doctors consider her condition to be serious.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
