Defender Leo Dubois has decided to end his football career at the age of 31. Sport24.az reports that the French defender announced this on his "Instagram" page:
"I was fortunate enough to express my values on the field, play in the most beautiful stadiums, defend bright colors, share the same dressing room with incredible people and talents.
Football gave me everything. He taught me discipline, perseverance, endurance and overcoming myself. He also gave me incredible feelings that I will never forget."
Leo's last club was Eyüpspor, which he left in the summer of this year. He also played for Lyon, Nantes, Galatasaray and Başakşehir clubs. In total, the football player played 350 matches, scored 13 goals and provided 39 assists.
At the club level, he won the Turkish champion title three times as part of "Galatasaray".
In addition, Dubois has 13 matches and 2 assists for the French national team. The experienced player won the League of Nations with the national team in 2021.
