Former Barcelona president Enric Reyna has died at the age of 85. He goes down in history as the person who led the club during one of its most turbulent periods.
Idman.Biz reports that Reyna came to this position on February 12, 2003, after the resignation of the then president Joan Gaspart.
He was the 37th president in the club's history. During his short term, which lasted only a few months, Reyna decided to hold early elections. It was in those elections that Joan Laporta first won and was elected president of the club.
Reyna was also a well-known businessman involved in construction and hotel business in Barcelona. The Barcelona management has issued an official condolences regarding his death and highly appreciated his services during the club's difficult times.
