The new head coach of the Mexican national team has been announced. Sport24.az reports that former Barcelona defender Rafael Márquez will lead the Mexican national team after the 2026 World Cup.
Currently, Javier Aguirre is coaching the team.
It should be noted that the World Cup will be held in Mexico, Canada, and the USA. Mexico will compete in Group A with South Africa and South Korea.
The fourth team in the group will be one of the national teams of the Czech Republic, Ireland, Denmark, and North Macedonia.
The 46-year-old specialist is currently working as an assistant coach in the Mexican national team.
