"Arsenal" academy graduate Billy Vigar has died at the age of 21.
Idman.biz reports that the footballer suffered a head injury on September 20 during the match between "Chichester City" and "Wingate".
"We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Billy Vigar. Our deepest condolences go to his family, friends, loved ones and everyone at Chichester City Football Club at this incredibly difficult time," the Football Association said in a statement.
The game was stopped in the 15th minute after Vigar fell and hit his head hard on the ground. He received initial medical attention and was then airlifted to the hospital. The player fell into a coma.
Vigar played in Arsenal's youth teams, making 22 appearances for the under-18s and 5 for the under-21s.
