Former Anderlecht and Belgium national team defender Glen De Boeck has died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Idman.Biz reports that the former footballer died at the age of 54.
According to RMC Sport, he died on Monday night in Antwerp.
According to his family, he suffered a severe cerebral hemorrhage at home, after which he fell into a deep coma and later died without regaining consciousness.
Glen De Boeck played 36 matches for the Belgian national team during his career and scored one goal. After leaving professional football, De Boeck became a coach. His last club was Kortrijk.
