Santiago Castrillón, a player for the Colombian youth team "Millonarios", has died in hospital.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the club's website has released information about this.
The 18-year-old player lost consciousness on March 21 during a youth championship game and was taken to hospital by ambulance. Castrillón was treated in the intensive care unit.
Although cardiologists tried to save the player, he died on March 22.
Castrillón did not debut in Millonarios' main team. However, he was included in the squad for several match days.
