A football festival for children aged 10-13 was held at the Nakhchivan central stadium within the framework of the UEFA Grassroots Football Week, organized by AFFA with the support of UEFA and "EA Sports". Sport24.az reports that the national association's official website has released information about this.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Vice-President of the Nakhchivan Football Federation Arif Khudiyev, General Secretary Ragif Abbasov, Head of the Sports Department of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Youth and Sports Taleh Ibrahimov, Deputy Head of the Nakhchivan City Executive Power Gulkhanim Orucova, Representative of the Nakhchivan Ministry of Education Safar Tagiyev and Head of the AFFA Grassroots Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov conveyed their best wishes to the participants and wished them success in their future lives.
At the festival attended by more than 100 children, participants played football and had fun. At the end of the festival, each child was presented with balls sent by UEFA. The gifts were presented to the children by officials of the Nakhchivan Football Federation and AFFA together.
