Idman.Biz reports that a number of club presidents and many professional footballers have been detained as part of the investigation into allegations of match-fixing and betting related to a match held in the Turkish Second League in the 2023-2024 season.
During the operation, "Fenerbahçe" footballer Mert Hakan Yandaş, "Galatasaray" player Metehan Baltacı and former president of "Adana Demirspor" Murat Sancak were also among those detained.

According to the information, law enforcement agencies conducted operations in several cities in parallel, and the suspects were taken to the prosecutor's office.
