Football Betting Operation in Istanbul: Football Players and Club Executives Detained

Another operation has been carried out in Istanbul, Turkey, regarding football betting.

Lent.az reports, citing local media, that as a result of the operation carried out by the prosecutor's office, 46 people, including football players and some club executives, have been detained.

Among those detained is former referee and famous football commentator Ahmet Çakar.
