As part of an investigation into football betting in Turkey, arrest warrants have been issued for another 29 people.
Lent.az reports, citing local media, that 14 of the suspects are football players. Among them is former Galatasaray CEO Erden Timur.
It is noted that a total of 24 suspects, including Erden Timur, have been detained. It is reported that one person is already in custody in another criminal case. Searches are underway to arrest the remaining 4 people.
It is reported that six suspects are accused in the investigation materials of attempting to influence the outcome of the Kasimpasa-Samsunspor match.
