Volker Struth, the agent of Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz, has stated that he wants his client to move to Real Madrid.
Idman.Biz reports that he has tried to do so before.
"When a move to Liverpool or Bayern was discussed, I contacted Xabi Alonso and told him that he should take the Bayer player with him to Real Madrid. Xabi replied: 'Don't tell me, tell Florentino Perez'.
So I sent him a message: 'Dear Florentino, I have told you many times: I have a player I recommend. Florian Wirtz is capable of improving any team in the world'.
That year, it just wasn't the right time because of the squad and the budget. Even Real Madrid's treasury isn't always full. But I still hope that Florian will be there one day," Bild quotes the agent.
