Former "Milan", "Roma" and Italy defender Alessandro Florenzi has revealed the name of the toughest opponent he has faced in his career.
Idman.Biz reports that the Italian press published the views of the 34-year-old former wing-back.
Alessandro Florenzi confessed that playing against Croatian footballer Ivan Perisic was even more difficult than fighting against star footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
"I have played against Ronaldo and Messi - I have great respect for them. But there was another football player who I suffered the most - I'm talking about Perisic. He could go right, he could go left - it didn't matter to him. And he never stopped. It was a real nightmare," said the football player, who finished his career in the summer.
For information, let's add that Ivan Perisic wore the jersey of "Inter" in Italy. Currently, the 36-year-old Croatian football player defends the honor of the Dutch club PSV.
