Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has shared his thoughts on receiving a red card at the end of the match against Girona (2:1) in the ninth round of the Spanish Championship.
According to Idman.Biz, the German specialist was penalized for protesting the referee's decisions and will therefore miss the upcoming "El Clasico" match against Real Madrid.
Flick stated that he tried to speak to the referee, but he did not want to communicate with the head coach: "The referee made his decision and I respect it. It's hard for me that I won't be able to be with my team in "El Clasico".
It should be noted that the Real Madrid - Barcelona match will be held on October 26 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
