Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has spoken harshly about the Spanish national team regarding the situation with Lamine Yamal.
According to Idman.biz, the Barcelona coach has confirmed that the 18-year-old winger will miss the La Liga match against Valencia at Camp Nou in the 4th round, and stressed that the player already had health problems during his appearance for the national team.
Despite back pain and not training between matches, Yamal played 79 minutes against Bulgaria and 73 minutes against Turkey. At a press conference, Flick said, "Lamin Yamal will not be available tomorrow, it's a disgrace. He played with pain in the national team and this is a manifestation of carelessness towards the players."
Earlier, the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo wrote that Yamal was struggling with back discomfort before joining the national team. Now Barcelona are forced to look for a replacement for the young forward, and Marcus Rashford could take his place in the match against Valencia.
