Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick assessed Marcus Rashford's performance after the Champions League group stage first-round match against Newcastle (2:1). Sport24.az reports that he said about the English striker, who scored a brace:
"I consider him a fantastic football player. His skills are incredible, and his productivity is simply amazing. He tried to create opportunities in the first half as well, but he lacked accuracy. In the second half, everything changed. It's always good for a striker to score a goal. I'm very happy. He is an important player for us. Even before the start of the season, when we were discussing which players the team needed, we felt we needed such a player. He is an extraordinary football player."
It should be noted that Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona this summer on a one-year loan. He belongs to Manchester United.
