Former "Neftchi" captain Flavinho gave a statement to Sportal.az. The Brazilian assessed the current situation of the "white-blacks".

"I knew the start of the championship would be difficult. The pressure to win is high and unfortunately, "Neftchi" has not won yet. To be honest, I don't know if the team has made good transfers. Because I couldn't watch the last match completely. But what is certain is that the head coach has new players and goals at his disposal. I hope everything goes well."
The Brazilian, who wore the uniform of "Neftchi" in 2010-2015, said that he still follows the performance of the Baku club:
"It is up to Neftchi to change the failures of the last few years. If they win a game, their self-confidence will return and everything will change. I always support Neftchi and follow their successful performance. I believe and hope that everything will be better in Neftchi."
